AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and drink vendors focus on offering fans a variety of international and local dishes, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy. There are more than 50 points of sale across the circuit where visitors can purchase food, beverages, and official merchandise.

Please note that alcohol is not sold in public areas of the circuit. Alcoholic beverages are available only within hospitality and VIP areas.

From 2025, the Bahrain Grand Prix has been described as a cashless event, with visitors able to use major domestic or international physical or digital bank cards. Cash can be loaded onto a dedicated “BIC PAY” card at designated top-up booths or through mobile top-up agents around the circuit.

However, official terms and available information do not clearly confirm whether direct cash payments are accepted at sales points. While cash is not listed as a prohibited item, the payment methods are not explicitly specified, and some sources provide inconsistent information. As policies may be updated ahead of the 2026 event, we recommend checking the latest details directly with the circuit prior to your visit to avoid any confusion regarding payment options.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on race day. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

In mid-April, when the F1 race takes place (10–12 April), Bahrain experiences warm to hot spring weather. Daytime temperatures typically range between 28°C and 34°C (82°F to 93°F), while evening temperatures usually fall to around 22°C–26°C (72°F to 79°F). Humidity can gradually increase compared to March, but rainfall remains very unlikely, as April is generally a dry month in Bahrain.

Overall, April provides stable and predominantly sunny conditions for the Bahrain Grand Prix, although spectators should be prepared for strong sunshine and higher afternoon temperatures, especially in uncovered grandstands.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is advisable to check a reliable weather forecast closer to the date of your visit, as weather conditions may vary from year to year. For example, we recommend using the Windy app.
