RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other F1 events, visitors to the Bahrain Grand Prix must abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them:

WHAT CAN'T YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Items that can be used to damage or deface property - or any part of the circuit and its surroundings - as well as obstructions, hindrances or interruptions to the race, affecting public safety, are prohibited by law. This also includes any merchandise or tickets for commercial distribution and any dangerous items.

Anyone entering the venue will be subject to a security check and bag search. Refusal may result in being denied entry without a refund.

Bringing your own food or drinks (including alcohol) onto the site is strictly prohibited. However, a wide selection of refreshments is available at the Fanzone.

The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

• air horns and loud hailers
• alcohol brought from outside
• any items that could be used as a weapon and/or endanger public safety
• bottles, glass vessels, and containers
• cell phone jammers
• dangerous or hazardous items
• drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
• fireworks, flares, and smoke bombs
• items containing protest (political, religious, or otherwise) or offensive slogans or inscriptions
• knives and blades
• laser devices and pointers
• professional cameras and recording equipment (without prior authorization)
• radio scanners and walkie-talkies
• weapons of any kind

WHAT SHOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

We generally recommend visitors of F1 races to pack light and take only the essentials. The most important items are your valid ticket for each specific day and a valid ID or passport (for yourself and your children), as these are required for entry.

For your comfort during the event, we also suggest bringing:

• cash or credit cards for food and merchandise
• fully charged mobile phone
• power bank (spare battery) for your devices
• sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat)

There is a wide range of food and drinks available at the race circuit, so you don't need to worry about refreshments between the racing sessions.
